The Shirt Off Her Back

I mentioned in Sunday's Cocktail post about the character of Joan from Human Bomb and her apparent lack of suitable shirts to wear to work. Just in case you missed it, here's what a normal S.H.A.D.E. operative gets to wear on the shop floor:

I'm sure they're perfectly functional, all-in-one high tech romper suits.

The head honcho, Uncle Sam, does the standard boardroom look:

while Joan? Poor old Joan gets to come to work like this:

That's not even a colouring error: you can clearly see her collar bones and the hollow of her throat. Her shirt hasn't been mis-coloured - it's simply not there.

There you go, Joan. Much more appropriate work wear.

Crisis on Earth-Prime - clothing comic book women one shirt at a time.

  1. Too bad you can't use your magical editing powers to fix all of the numerous mistakes and errors on most, if not all of the Nu52 titles so that they're actually worth the paper they're printed on;)

Oh that and erase Karen Berger's resignation and Dan Didio's hiring.
Sadly, even the great Gary can't perform those types of miracles:)

    1. I'm enjoying most of the titles I'm getting and, because of the re-boot and "everything's new" approach, find myself able to ditch series I'm not - Green Arrow as an example.

And no, my limited Photoshop skills don't extend to the real world!

  2. If only we could all jump across from Earth Prime. Mind, we'd likely be maimed within minutes.

    Top post, Gary!

    1. Glad you liked it - as I said in the post I linked to, skimpy superhero outfits I can sort of turn a blind eye to; this sort of real world scenario where a woman's just eye candy baffles me.

Get me, being all New Man like!
