DC's January Solicitations

All-Star Western #27
Hex’s journey through the modern age continues! Guess whose attention Hex attracts as he makes his way to Metropolis!
Hex facing off against Superman - can't wait!

Earth 2 Annual #2
The origin of Earth 2’s new Batman is revealed. But after he tells his tale, will any of the other heroes trust him again?
Looks like he's rising from a grave - is that meant to imply he's Bruce Wayne, despite dying during Darkseid's invasion? Or - and here's a wild thought - is he Thomas Wayne, Bruce's dad?

Forever Evil #5
With everything to lose, Lex Luthor and his Injustice League raid the stronghold of the Crime Syndicate with consequences so devastating, the DC Universe will never be the same!
Seriously, DC? Your first line wide crossover since the reboot and you're going with "consequences so devastating, the DC Universe will never be the same!" Good Lord, aren't you supposed to be doing something new and different? If that's the case, why trot out the same old clichés?

Martian Manhunter: Son Of Mars
These tales from MARTIAN MANHUNTER #0-9 begin as the Manhunter tells Superman how he came to Earth. In his guise as Detective John Jones, he tracks a serial killer and investigates a mystery at Cadmus Laboratories, then saves the Justice League from the threat of Malefic.
Hey, look at that - only a week or two after I feature Martian Manhunter #1,000,000 in a Monday Memories post, DC announce they're collecting the series! Go and buy it, people.

Power Girl: Power Trip
Every Power Girl story illustrated by Amanda Conner is collected in one volume that includes JSA CLASSIFIED #1-4 and POWER GIRL #1-12! Don’t miss these stories featuring the Psycho-Pirate, Ultra-Humanite, Vartox and some very sexy alien marauders!
And speaking of collections you should pick up, if you missed the first twelve issues of Power Girl, here's your chance to get the lot. Come for the gorgeous art by Amanda Conner, stay for the fun and heartwarming stories by Palmiotti and Gray. One of my all time favourite series, you need to buy this. Hell, I own all the issues and I'm tempted.

The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires #8
Through thick and thin, the Green Team has endured more pain and suffering than any teen trillionaire can withstand. Will this final issue be their breaking point?
I think I said early on that this series would be lucky to get past eight issues and, sure enough, it's coming to a close. I'm only surprised that The Movement isn't finishing as well.

Worlds’ Finest Annual #1
In one of their first adventures together, Earth 2’s Supergirl and Robin team up to face their world’s Wonder Woman!
More Earth 2 adventures? I'm there.
