Now I know that the Countdown issue could be classed as a homage but I thought it worked best against the original. True, it would have worked better if the reflections hadn't been cluttered up with loads of other Wildstorm characters, but there we go.
Reflections are also a nice way to have the main character appear without really appearing if you see what I mean:

It is a good thing you put the JLA next to the Countdown...as I had NEVER noticed it as an homage before...Cluttered indeed!

ReplyDeleteyou should check out the JLA Crisis on 2 Earths movie. it's all around pretty good and definitely one of the better animated movies from DC or Marvel.

We liked those as well as All Star Superman and Emerald Knights at our house...
