Perusing Previews

Looking through the latest Previews the other day, trying to avoid spoilers on the series I read (and failing, mostly) I found a couple of things that made me chuckle.

Han Solo in Carbonite ice cube tray! Awesome!

Monday Memes #10

Similar to the Friendly Fire meme I've already covered once (and will be returning to again and again!) is the run-up to the fight or, as I've termed it, the Face Off - particularly effective when dopplegangers of the same heroes are used:

The original from Earth-Three or the Qwardian version masquerading as the Conglomerate?

Firebrand bemoans the budget deficit

Flashpoint Covers

While I was out last night watching the comedian Stewart Lee, DC were busy throwing out the covers of eight Flashpoint mini-series that are due to run this summer.

Friday Night Fights - The Savage Hunter

It's Friday and we all know what that means, don't we? Fights!

Red Skull!

I am stupidly, stupidly busy with work right now so apologies for the brief posts lately.

I know you've probably seen this by now, but how fricking cool does Hugo Weaving look as the Red Skull?

Is it wrong for me, as a life-long DC fan, to be more interested in the Captain America and Thor movies than the upcoming Green Lantern flick?

Old Ads #2

Still wandering through the old classified ads from late 80's and early 90's comics and came across a number of shops and individuals selling comics.
