Where was the Scarab before it merged with the current Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes?
Written by JAMES ROBINSON"tragic origin of Earth 2’s greatest villain"? Is that going to be the villainous Terry Sloane as glimpsed in Earth 2 #2? If so, snell's not going to be happy.

PROLOGUE TO THE THIRD ARMY!
A new team forms as Atrocitus, Larfleeze, Star Sapphire Carol Ferris, Saint Walker, Arkillo and Kyle Rayner prepare for war against the Guardians of the Universe!
GREEN ARROW #0Who would have thought that I would welcome Judd Winick back as Green Arrow writer? I don't know if this is just a one-off or if (please, please, please) Ann Nocenti's no longer writing the book from September but it gives me a little more incentive to stick around with this title.

Oliver Queen is young, rich and reckless…what could possibly go wrong?
Discover the events leading up to the birth of Green Arrow, and Ollie’s history with Roy Harper!
[Update - darn, looks like Winick's a one-off according to this article and Nocenti's still the regular writer. Unless it improves dramatically, this title's getting close to being dropped.]
Thanks so much, I never read the solicitations and would have missed the Blue Beetle stuff.
ReplyDeleteIf you're reading Green Arrow, please explain Ollie's horror towards the end - does he realise he's addicted to metal clothing?
I can only explain that sudden gasp of horror as a wonderful example of Nocenti's dreadful writing. It makes no sense and comes out of nowhere.
