DOCTOR PSYCHO - another Wonder Woman villain who doesn't really fit into the new status quo of that title, I'm going to go with a no here.
DOCTOR REGULUS - a Legion villain, I'm afraid I'm not educated enough to make a guess. Hopefully Dave Sopko, the official COEP Legion go to guy can let us know in the comments.
DR. THIRTEEN - after the wonderful back-up story in Tales of the Unexpected a few years ago, Dr Thirteen should have had more exposure. As it was, it didn't happen and unless he turns up in the pages of Justice League Dark, I can't see him appearing anywhere. With that in mind, he's a distant possible.
DOCTOR TZIN-TZIN - does anyone remember this Batman villain? Thought not.
DOLL MAN - sadly, Flashpoint curtailed the last (and very good) version of the Freedom Fighters so I think it highly unlikely that we'll be seeing any version of Doll Man soon.
DOLPHIN - as the current Aquaman series has yet to introduce any of his supporting cast (with the exception of Mera) it seems unlikely that the killed during Infinite Crisis version of Dolphin will return soon, if at all.
DON CABALLERO - another one that, just six or seven months ago (from the time of writing) I'd have said there was no chance we'd ever see him again. With the success of All Star Western, however, I'm going to put the Maestro of the Blade in the possibles.
DOOM PATROL - where oh where are the Doom Patrol in the new DCU? There's been no hint of their return, despite the wonderful Keith Giffen written series that Flashpoint killed last year. However, with the Challengers of the Unknown getting a stint in DC Universe Presents, I'd like to think that the same title could house the Patrol so am putting them in the possibles.
DRAGON KING - last seen in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E., I don't think even the Justice Society on Earth-2 need to worry about this bloke turning up.
DREAM GIRL - and a quick double check on the internet shows me that Dream Girl is currently alive and well (or at least appearing - I didn't check on her health) in the new Legion title.
THE DUKE OF DECEPTION - seriously? No.
THE DUMMY - an old Earth-Two villain that James Robinson might be tempted to do something with but I doubt it.
DUO DAMSEL - and again, as far as I can see, some version of Duo Damsel is appearing in Legion of Super-Heroes "as an instructor at the Legion Academy" according to Dave Sopko, COEP's Legion guy.
DUPLICATE BOY - not so sure about this one, though. Dave says "Has not been seen in years, along with the rest of the Heroes of Lallor. Doubtfull that he, or they will be seen any time soon, at least not this year."
EARTHWORM - a child trafficker who fell foul of the Huntress, I think it unlikely that we'll be seeing him any time.
So in summary, one already in place (Dream Girl), no definite predictions, three possibles (Dr Thirteen, Don Caballero and the Doom Patrol)

Missed this one...sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteDOCTOR REGULUS - The 'Arch-Villain' of Sun Boy. I really doubt that he will be heard from again this year...probably a few years don the line before he shows up again. Outside of those mass (Legion of Three Worlds) type character groupings they have now and then.
Cheers, Dave!
