Justice League 3000 Minus One
Well this bit of news was a bummer: Kevin Maguire is no longer drawing the new series Justice League 3000 by Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis. Perusing my copy of Previews this weekend, I was all ready to add this to my pull list but I'm not sure I'll bother now.
Apparently the concept of the book is being reworked so what's in Previews may not resemble the book we'll get.
Oh DC, why do you keep doing these things?

Yeah, this is rotten news. Can we save up and buy a so on the wall of the DC offices?
ReplyDeleteReally disappointed with this; I shan't be buying the title now.
Delete"buy a so on the wall" - buy a what?! :)
S0, for having "SODC" on their headquarters, I'd guess.
DeleteThe nasty vibe of those characters makes me worry they'll be clones of the Crime Syndicate or something miserable like that. They lost me after ditching Maguire.
Hate to lose the LSH for this. Be nice if a New 52 Legion percolates out of this ( maybe tied into the Forever People, rather than Superboy, linking them to the Fourth World, seemingly de rigueur in nuDC)
Pfff, those are some unpleasant characters, those are. Justice League Beyond did this better.
I was all geared up for this series - Giffen, DeMatteis and Maguire back together again - but with the change of art and tone, I'm not going to bother.
